About Janice

Janice Naehu

Janice likes early morning writing sessions — preferably in her pajamas, sipping mango smoothies, watching DIY TV, and initiating conversations with strangers.

In that order.

She also enjoys checking off unique experiences on her adventures list, such as reupholstering furniture, enrolling in a clinical psychology master’s program, artistically carving vegetables into flowers, patenting a new invention, and teaching art at a local prison’s psych ward.

Check, check, check, check, and check.

When not working as a personal assistant to high-profile celebrities, Janice revels in people’s ‘meet-cute’ stories, those serendipitous encounters that lead to romantic relationships, adding to her love of writing hybrid romance/action/dramedies.

Love, Crime, and Boots was inspired by an incident in Janice’s Hawaii childhood.
